“ Chester ’ s original shape was based on Oakland but as we ’ ve developed more collections , we ’ ve changed some of the proportions . By reducing the frame size this allowed us to increase the drawer sizes – giving you more storage – and the doors to improve functionality . It also helps to balance the overall look of every piece for a more timeless yet contemporary feel .”
